                                                                                                                                                       (Source: Pinterest)

Here in Thailand it’s festival season right now, and numerous of festivals are coming up these following weeks. Wonderfruit, Maya and Mystical Valley are just around the corner. Myself, I’m going to Wonderfruit this year as I have heard amazing things about this 4 days festival located in Pattaya. Rumor has it it’s gonna be chill tunes, delicious food and amazing outfits. I can’t wait, and strolling the internet for inspiration!

Fun Fashion

Forgot to share this outfit with you! I guess many of you have already seen it on my Instagram @idakjoh, but here it goes; full version. Love the fluffiness and the length of the skirt. It makes me feel like a 10 year old princes and halloween witch at the same time. Is that even positive? I guess so!

The last couple of weeks I’ve been back in Norway for a little visit, and ended up being sick the full two weeks. It was super nice to meet friends and family again, even though it was a bit limited. Haven’t seen some of them for over 6 months! I also popped by Oslo and FJONG‘s new showroom. What the girls have going on there is super exciting, and their wardrobe has expanded into something enviable for any girl. But hey, the best part is that their closet can be yours! Vintage fever has also moved in with them, and it is now also possible to rent their purses. I wanted to buy almost all of their bags, but managed to behave. And just to end my Europe trip the best possible way I also had a pit stop in Monaco. Been there several times now, and the city is beautiful. Put on you best hiking shoes though, the city got more ups and downs than Bergen! Now I gotta continue to study, this girl got a master thesis to write.

Fashionista of the year!

The headline says it all; I’ve been lucky to run away with Femelle’s title as «Fashionista of the year 2016». I’m forever grateful, and want to say thank you to everyone that has voted for me. I startet to blog just a few months ago, and it’s all still very new to me. I’m very humble, and it makes me super happy to know that you have taken your time to give me your vote, and that you wanted to give it to me. I also want to say congratulations to all the other Femelle girls that won in their category! You all did a great job 🙂

Secrets to Singapore

Recently came back from my trip to Singapore. Been mentioning it before, but living in Bangkok is heaven when it comes to traveling around! Took an express visit with 3 days, and to be honest, it is (almost) enough! 20.000 steps each day proves our commitment to the touristifying of the city. It was a lot of places and things we didn’t have the opportunity to visit, but here are just a few suggestions from my trip.

Marina Bay Sands and Gardens by the bay

Disney world on speed! It seems like the architects and garden planners here had something to do with the movie Avatar. While walking here you are surrounded by plants from the future, and buildings that seems to take you to there. Put on some comfortable shoes (do not do like me), and just walk around in this «garden» for hours. Try some local specialities at the «Satay», and watch up on the «spaceship building». Do not go there yet, save it for the evening!

Singapore Art Science Museum

Geek allert! I have been studying chemistry and physics, but this is really a museum for everyone! Singapore Art Science Museum have several exhibitions, but Future World is what really got our attention. It was an interactive, inspiring, fun and educational exhibition, really mixing science and art. I would also recommend to bring your kids here, as there were a lot of activities and fun for kids to try. 5 out of 5 from me!

Singapore by night

Yes you’re right! Put on those heels and get up there. Singapore skyline is waiting for you as you sip on that long drink. And hey, it doesn’t matter which sky bar you go to. Just find you favorite and watch the view. It is spectacular! (For those wondering, yes we went to the space ship aka Celavi. Couldn’t go there without checking out Bangkok’s big sister)

Sentosa Island and Universal Studios

If you wanna have some fun, head over to Sentosa Island. The island of fun offer everything you could wish for.  Sentosa offers waterparks, aquariums, and museums. The choice is yours! As the landlubbers and speed junkies we are, our choice ended at Universal Studios. Already been to the one in Florida, but this one was no disappointment. Decent choice of rides for «grown ups», and when you just cannot behave and stop dancing when you hear the lyrics «I like to move it move it», you know this place is for you. And sorry for the lack of pictures, someone was having it too much fun!

Singapore has a lot to offer other than this, not to mention the tons of malls and opportunities for shopping. Did I mention that they have a (regular) Victorias Secret store there? Almost reason enough to go. The city is super clean and beautiful, and just walking around is an experience in itself. Not to talk about the food, as the multicultural diversity entails a lot of amazing cuisines to try. Bon voyage!

Fashion Army

No secret that one of my favorite colors are green, military style. Especially these days I’m surrounding myself in everything of this color. I guess it is my way of dressing «winterly» in the lack of seasons. Well, if I cannot wrap myself in chunky knits, at least I can commit to the colors. Btw seen these shoes? Takes one hour to get into them, but what does one not to feel a bit Kardashian for some hours. And these shoes I could never use in Norway at this time; SCORE!

Shoe Heaven

Popped into YSL this week while I was in Singapore (new buys coming up), and lord give me strength! The shoe rack presented at YSL these days are no more than fab. Silver, black, white and nudes are going straight home to this girl. Give me some khaki Tributes and I’ll walk that extra mile on the treadmill today (IN them ofc). But no matter of all the inches these shoes were trying to fight over to get ones attention, my attention was drawn to the black slippers. Slay as we say.

Pst! Don’t forget to vote for me as fashionista of the year here:

The Week that passed

Yet another week has passed, and so quickly! Sunday updates now became Tuesday, but you know what, better late than never. This week has been the week for trying new stuff; Thai cooking class (went a little over board with the pictures), Virtual reality gaming, Indiedish delivery, and a trip to a new country. Could not wish for a better week. Did not bring my computer overseas, so updates from Singapore coming soon!

Bumping in to say hi and show you this easy little outfit. When in doubt, denim saves the day. And this killer heels? In love! Except the time they actually almost killed me. But let’s save that story for later. Have a nice day lovelies <3

However, it gives me tons of motivation, no matter how the results will be. Femelle has a bad ass crew of girls blogging for them, and I am proud to be a part of this team. I wish all the girls good luck!

Just press the picture and it will take you straight to the voting page. THANK YOU! <3

The week that passed

A new permanent post coming up on Sundays; the week that passed (through my story lense). To reminisce is always important, and pictures make it easier to keep those memories. So here it goes, a little flow of those small moments from my week.
